The ability to help people with insurance concerns related to their health or the health of a loved i. An excellent do good packet. A cultivated effort by upper management to promote from within. An overall great group of people to piece of work with, I wish I didn't accept to go out from this employer. Unfortunately relocation was an unavoidable circumstance.
Cons
While management does cultivate an environment to promote within, the process is very convoluted. Many policy changes that are seem to occur well-nigh daily. This was of grade unavoidable as we dealt with Federal policies inside Medicare and Medicaid.

Management has let the nearly talented employees go or leave on their ain; and employees are not replaced. Direction just loads the work on to some other manager that is already stretched to limit. The management has made decisions not to comply with sure of import policies and procedures, stating " We practise not care nearly that." Pay raises were given In the spring of 2016 of no more that 3%, About employees did not even get that much. This is subsequently 4 years of no raises and a xx% cut in salaries across the board. IT equipment is old and routinely crashes. For employees that have laptops, they are at least 7 years old. The company is run on a shoe cord in generalDepartment managers will threaten there employees with disciplinary write ups even if the employee needs to be trained in a process that they do not sympathise, There is no mentoring of the employees. They give jobs to employees that take no feel exercise the chore. 1 note the CEO Is no longer Frank Harvey. Jonathan Blackness is the CEO.

I worked from domicile. We got to pick our schedule as long as it was inside 6am to 6pm Monday through Saturday. This was a pro so. They relinquished the scheduling and work at dwelling plan and so don't base your stance off this. This was just a pro for me.

Healthcare was outrageously priced Merely we got a healthcare credit carte to off set copays, just unless y'all become to the dr all the time, the credit card means cypher. No room for advancement.

Curt breaks, poor training, tediously outdated figurer systems, messy management, not much organization, outsourcing of jobs overseas With effective company and systems training, employees shouldn't be repeatedly request each other for help virtually the same things if they've been in that location over a year, much less a couple months. That's a bad sign. I expected better from such a reputable company.

Bullying mentality is rampant in the pharmacy dept. Dishonesty and gossiping is the norm, specifically by the most senior direction. This company provides quality supplies for diabetic patients working with multiple insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid. It feels skillful to be part of a team that helps people.

The company was bought and sold three times while I was there. The middle buying group didn't handle their due diligence, acted surprised at the fiscal situation they found themselves in, had every remaining employee take a xx% cutting in pay (then went to court to heighten their own pay), and somehow we remaining employees brought the visitor back into the black. Then we were sold to new owners who re-aligned the visitor, and my chore was eliminated.

One time Liberty Medical was purchased by Medco and Express Scripts it was no longer a family company became more or less a turn a profit driven company and did non focus on patient needs being the Liberty Medical is a diabetic company. Once a stable company and since being purchased I've seen jobs lost and no advancement opportunities available.
